Description: Title: JULinuXP 32 bit Full and lite (DVD and CD) (this is the CD version) Version: 0.1.6.1f Entered-date: 02-10-2009 Description: This version of JULinux unofficially called JULinuXP not only closely resembles Windows XP, easily runs Windows programs, and behaves like Windows XP but you will find that everything you need you have after Finishing the install. All the codecs, players, etc. will be installed upon executing the Finish_Install.sh script on the Desktop and agreeing to the agreement. There could not be a better time to switch to Linux. It's based on Ubuntu 9.10 and still uses Gnome. If your not satisfied with what it already looks like you have an option during the Finish_Install.sh to make it look 100% like Windows XP. This does however remove Linux's functionality to display mounted items on the Desktop because Windows XP doesn't do that. This can be added in later using Ubuntu Tweak. Have Fun! 64 bit releases will be coming soon. IMPORTANT NOTE!: The CD Version of JULinux will run fine in Live CD mode but after installing the CD to the hard drive (not after the Finish_Install.sh) the desktop will look funny with a green background, missing "GO!" button, and a few other odd things. To fix this you can use the Finish_Install.sh to install the Windows XP theme.                                   Install Notes
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1.  Go to www.justuselinux.com and click Download in the right.
2.  While that's going on get yourself some free burning software if your using 
   Windows If your already using Linux then skip to 4.
3.  After the download from JustUseLinux.com has finished and you have installed
   your free CD burning software program reboot. (restart your computer)
4.  Now double click the file ending in .iso that you downloaded from 
   www.justuselinux.com and it should open in your burning application and ask
   you if you want to burn it directly to the disk or as a data file. If it asks
   you if you want to burn it as a data file don't choose that option or it 
   won't work.
5.  After burning is complete reboot your computer and if necessary use boot 
   options to boot from the CD/DVD drive that you put the CD in. Make sure to 
   safely shut down or restart Windows (If that's what you are using) and don't
   force it if you can help it.
6.  Check the disk to make sure you didn't burn a bad disk first.
7.  After checking the disk use the second option from the top to boot.
   This is the safe graphics option and it will be better for installing.
8.  Double Click Install JULinux 0161.
9.  Durring the install you can either wipe out Windows all together or if you
   haven't backed up your important data you can split the drive in half (if you
   shut down your computer safely like I told you to in step 5) and import your
   data from Windows. (sometimes this doesn't work automatically and you have
   to do it yourself later)
10. REMEMBER YOUR PASSWORD AND USERNAME OR YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO INSTALL OR 
   REMOVE ANY PROGRAMS! 
11. Now it will probably ask you to reboot your computer or continue testing. 
   Just click reboot.
12. After starting it up make sure you are connected to the internet (go to 
   google.com using Firefox) and then double click Finish_Install.sh on the
   Desktop.  
13. Click "Run In Terminal" You will see a scary looking window with Text 
    in it! (before you duck and cover read the text) DO NOT CLOSE THIS
    WINDOW AT ANY TIME NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES OR YOU COULD REALLY MESS
    UP YOUR COMPUTER!
14. Read the instructions and follow them. (type y and press enter)
   (then enter your password that I told you to remember in step 10 and press
   enter. Don't ask me why you can't see the password when you type it just
   assume it's in there. If you think you typed it wrong just hold down 
   backspace for 2 seconds.
15. Firefox will open up with instructions. If you don't close Firefox the
   Terminal will just set there and do nothing. So read it and write down
   notes if you need to and then close Firefox. Setup will continue.
16. Cool windows will pop up durring the install and you might see some
   gray, red, and blue screens with an <ok>, <yes>, and <no> option. Use your
   UP ^, Down v, Right >, and Left < arrow keys on your keyboard and press 
   enter.
